The Tufts boathouse at Mystic Lakes was ready for business today, but had no takers due to the still air and heavy overcast.<\/p>\n

Made for a nice photo, though.<\/p>\n

But it was a good ride at a decent pace for urban riding, despite weekend traffic and a detour caused by a water main break: Malden to the Mystic Lakes, down the Mystic River to Alewife Brook, Alewife Brook to Cambridge to Somerville to Medford, back to the Mystic, then to the Malden river, and home.<\/p>\n
