This data is private and encrypted (hence &#8220;opaque&#8221;) so that only the app that generated an OBB can read it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key thing is that these OBBs are usually generated by <em>add-on<\/em> apps and games that are usually <em>not<\/em> part of the phone&#8217;s original, as-delivered, &#8220;factory&#8221; setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, here&#8217;s what probably happened: You installed games or other apps that created private OBBs on your phone. The factory-reset then did what factory resets do &#8212; it returned all the phone&#8217;s software to its original, as-delivered, condition; erasing all non-original files and settings on the phone, including all non-original OBBs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, the folder&#8217;s gone because you erased it.
