A: Almost surely, yes.<\/strong> You usually can run 32-bit software on 64-bit hardware.<\/p>\n

In your case, you want to run a 32-bit (“x86”) version of Office on 32-bit Windows, itself installed on a 64-bit system. That’s all legit and allowed.<\/p>\n

The Office software won’t be dealing directly with the underlying 64-bit hardware; it will only see and interact with the 32-bit OS and its drivers.<\/p>\n
