Note: It only takes a minute to find out who’s behind just about any online presence or offering. Just use any of the many free whois (“who is…?”) services.
For example, I used the free ICANN whois service to see that that the “adaware.com” domain is registered to Lavasoft, through GoDaddy. A further quick Wikipedia search tells you all about LavaSoft: Lavasoft – Wikipedia.
