Q: What is the best way to get around Boston? (via Quora)

A: Here’s my list, in ascending order, best to worst; I adjust as needed to account for weather issues, distance being travelled, schedule pressures, whether or not I need to carry bulky items, etc.:

    1. Walk
    2. Bike
    3. T (subway and streetcars)
    4. Lyft/Uber
    5. T (Bus)
    6. Taxi
    7. Zipcar
    8. Commuter rail
    9. Private vehicle

I usually walk and use the subway/streetcar system more than anything else.
